This ABAQUS model for Earthquake Analysis of Elevated Storage Tank, which uses the Eulerian-Lagrangian Method, is a reliable and cost-effective solution for dynamic analysis of elevated storage tanks. The model simulates water particles in an Eulerian environment and steel particles of the tank in a Lagrangian environment to show the disturbance caused by the water during an earthquake. This numerical model can be used to simulate any type of storage tank using this software and extract their behavior.
